Andrew Loubser, better known as “Lappies” began working on small-scale productions in the mid 90’s and worked his way up in the industry, from humble beginnings taking entry-level jobs like driver or runner, right up to becoming Project Manager, Production Manager or Senior Site Manager on some of the largest international concerts and festivals in South Africa and the world at large.
Lappies has worked on events with international superstars like Post Malone, Meek Mill, The Cure, Chance the Rapper, Bryson Tiller, Travis Scott, Migos and Chris Brown in South Africa. In the rest of Africa he has done events with Future in Mozambique, Toni Braxton & Babyface in Zimbabwe as well as J Cole in Nigeria. Lappies’ specialized expertise recently took him to the Middle East, where he worked pre-production on the Diriyah Oasis in Dubai UAE and Production of the event in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. He also worked at the FIFA Arab Cup and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
