Breeze Zulu Bass King & 808RSA have shown growth in the music they have done together and their upcoming project called AmaBangers EP is an alignment of their growth. As a duo they have faced countless obstacles they never thought they’d overcome but they did - through perseverance, tunnel vision and determination.

“The rollercoaster that is life teaches you to enjoy the journey not the destination whilst still remaining thankful for the gift of life”, says Breeze.

Aybo Ngeke is a Call Out Anthem for the Youth to start doing rather than talking, 808RSA with a striking beat that exhumes the quality he’s known to deliver, met with a revolutionary hook. When you talk about Hip Hop and Dance it's Breeze, DBN pioneer and trendsetter The Zulu Bass King is back with a another street Anthem.

Skhindi and Sjava (2022)

If you’re like me, you can’t get enough of the snippets Durban rapper Skhindi keeps dropping for his upcoming single eTaxini featuring Award-winning artist Sjava. It’s been three months since the Esaphesheya Nation Artist gave us a visual teaser on October 20th using footage from the Yellow School Bus educational kiddies show. Of course the playful hook has hundreds of fans asking the same question, “When are you dropping the song Skhindi?”

See the visual teaser below.

I got to catch up with Skhindi to find out firstly, how the song came about and secondly when he thinks we’ll get this hit. The rapping taxi driver had this to say":

“The song began when Sjava saw me and Sazi’s song Wrong Turn on Youtube, so then he hit up Audio Sims ‘cause he saw that he’s the producer... And then he video called us that night that he saw the song, and he was like “don’t worry guys, I’m coming to Durban this weekend!”. It was a Wednesday. And then he came to my house in Yellowwood Park at 3am in the morning. He didn’t write, he just free-styled the whole song and then he left... We woke up in the morning and finished off the song. So he had left the song in pieces. He didn’t know what the song was gonna sound like ”

Skhindi goes on to say that the track has opened doors for him to go to Joburg as well as sign with a highly renowned management company - all without the song being officially released yet. For those catching Skhindi and the Esaphesheya Nation crew out at gigs, you’ll know that he’s been out creating major hype for eTaxini wherever he goes. From this Skhindi fan, I can’t wait to hear the entire song and watch the official video. For now though, we’ll have to try be satisfied with what we have.
