Let’s face it, most of us dream of success and work hard to attain it. We sometimes put up with crappy jobs we don’t like just so we can take our paychecks and fund the side hustle. We’ve heard the term “multiple income stream” a recipe for success but how when we can’t even land one job? Well, Shona Ferguson, suggests a different approach. One that countless self help books are based on and that is the power of manifestation. He recently posted a picture on Instagram where you can see his hand reaching out into the sunlight, his caption: “I reached for it in my dreams…I caught it in reality #faithoverfear. Pretty simple concept right? Fellow thespian Winnie Ntshaba also chimed in agreeably and commented, “That’s where it starts my brother, I always say, you can’t feature in a future you didn’t picture”. Pretty powerful stuff coming from the top dogs of entertainment in this country.

Now we don’t know if Nomcebo Zikode manifested this or not but the songstress who has 2 hit songs out right now,Jerusalema and Xola Moya wami, has signed an exclusive publishing deal with

Sony/ATV. The songstress says she is thrilled and that the hit song Jerusalema has changed her life for the better. She’s excited to see where the partnership takes her musically. Well done girl!

International Vibes

A lot of injustice and violence has been happening in Nigeria, namely due to the Special Anti Robbery Squad or SARS for short. Nigerians have been protesting against the controversial police force unit. (See page) A list celebrities both locally and internationally have not kept quiet and have expressed the seriousness of the matter. Cardi B put out a video on her social media directed at the Nigerian government. She said you gotta treat your people right in order for your country to be successful. Even Queen Bey spoke out on the matter via a statement she released on Twitter saying “I am heartbroken to see the senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria. There has to be an end to SARS”. She also went on to say that she has been working on partnerships with youth organizations to support those protesting for change.
