Durban’s very own HCL (short for Hydrochloric) is back with his latest studio project titled the Fidel CashDro EP. It’s a wordplay by the MC on Hydro, Fidel Castro and “cash”. The project brings a variety of sounds ranging from Drill, Trap, Boom Bap to Afro Beats.
All songs on the EP are produced, written, recorded, mixed and mastered by HCL and features some of Durban’s most pristine rappers such as Mkay DA Business, Akixxi and Jabulani Cindi. The lead single “No Game” really set the tone by debuting on Gagasi FM’s Fresh Cut and Radio MUT’s Afternoon Hang Out in the same week it was released.
HCL had this to say: “With Fidel CashDro being my 5th project in my catalogue, it’s one of my favourites creatively I really feel excited about this one its like a Graduation through the school Of hard Knocks”
